Kengo Kito continues to attract attention with his wide-ranging artistic expressions, including installations utilizing colorful ready-made objects, three-dimensional and two-dimensional works incorporating mirrors, glitter, and glass, as well as photography and video. Through bold color palettes and material combinations, he creates unique spaces that appeal directly to the physical senses.

In this solo exhibition titled “carousel”, he will unveil a new installation utilizing slide projectors, where colors and light mix together as they rotate. Additionally, the exhibition will feature new paintings from his “cosmic dust” series—which consist of multiple overlapping curves tracing human silhouettes—as well as three-dimensional works made of glass.

Furthermore, Kengo Kito will also be exhibiting new works in the group exhibition “Carpe Diem: Seize the Day, as a Flower” at the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art (June 30 – September 23, 2012).
