Kengo KITO
23 Jan. – 27 February 2010
Nagoya

installation view at the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University, NY, 2009

A solo exhibition by Kengo Kito, held during his return to Japan after a stay in New York in 2009.

Centered on a large-scale installation using fluorescent lights and wood, the exhibition also presents a series of new colorful paintings. By combining everyday ready-made objects, Kito continues to create immersive, otherworldly spaces filled with light and intense color. This new presentation is highly anticipated as part of his ongoing exploration of perceptual environments.
