Chiharu Shiota – Uncertain Daily Life –

A new exhibition by emerging artist Chiharu Shiota, known for her works featuring dresses continuously washed in water and large-scale installations in which entire spaces containing beds are woven through with black yarn.

For this exhibition, the gallery space will be tiled throughout, presenting Uncertain Daily Life, a new installation using mud and water.

(An installation featuring twenty beds is also currently on view through September 22 as part of a group exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Luzern in Switzerland.)
