Biography
Born in 1977 in Nagoya, Japan.
1999–2001: Involved in the establishment and management of the artist-run space “dot.”
2001: B.F.A. in Painting, Nagoya University of Arts
2003: M.F.A. in Oil Painting, Kyoto City University of Arts
2008–2009: Stayed in New York with a grant from the Gotoh Memorial Foundation.
2010–2012: Stayed in Berlin as an Overseas Trainee under the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan.
2015: Returned from Berlin.
Currently lives and works in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture.
