Biography
Born in 1968 in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
1991: B.F.A. in Painting (Printmaking), Tama Art University
1995: M.F.A. in Painting (Printmaking), Tama Art University
2004–2005: Stayed in the UK with a grant from the Pola Art Foundation; studied at Edinburgh College of Art (Scotland, UK)
2009–2010: Stayed in Edinburgh, UK, under the Japanese Government (Agency for Cultural Affairs) Overseas Study Program for Emerging Artists
Currently lives and works in Nagoya.
